Tawny Emperor

Asterocampa clyton

Asterocampa pupa (sp?)

Hackberry Emperor
Asterocampa celtis

Hackberry Emperor Asterocampa celtis - atypical?

This larvae has an unusual broad white stripe, but the lack of a dark central stripe, and darker stripes below the white, indicate A. celtis. A. clyton also has shorter dorsal head "horns" and longer cheek spines.
